What is ssc ?

the full form of ssc is staff selection commission , ssc itsel is an organisation which recruits the personnel for the
different post in government sector for grade B anad C

after all we can say that after upsc , ssc is one of the most famous examination out there in india in which lakhs of
of students take participate every year.

because of abouve reason it is also called mini IAS because of its post and famousity

basically ssc takes examination 4 times in a year for its participants for post like
SSC CGL
SSC CHSL
SSC CPO
SSC POLICE SI
Apart from this there are technical and mechanical examination for the deploma level examination which is being
conducted like SSC JE , etc for which SSC takes examination in a year.

What is SSC CGL ????

It is a graduate level examination for which minimal qualification should be graduation with any streme , whether you
are from science , commerece and atrs you can sit in this examination without any worry.

There is no percentage requirement for this examination in graduation however studets should pass in 33% in their respective
course of graduation.

last year ssc has announced 33 post for students giving this examination but it may vary year to year.

AGE FOR SSC SCL

Age may vary with the type of examination you are apperaring foe. Maximum age limit for this examinaton is 28 years.

However there is age relaxation for different catogery of students in terms of their castes.

QUALIFICATION OF SSC CGL

Minimal qualification of this exam is graduation , no matter from where you have done it but it should be with any recognised
university.

it is always advisable to apply after notification as you will be given particular date within which your graduation
should be completed. for that refer notification of ssc before applying for the post.

APPLCAATON FEES AND MODE OF PAYMENT FOR SSC CGL

1.For the general students applyng for the post

Rs 100 ( Rupees One Hundred Only).
from paying
Female students who belongs to SC( Scheduled Caste) and ST( Scheduled tribes ) and Ex- serviceman of govermaent
department excluded from paying the exam fees

That means it is free of cost for students belngs to sc st and ex- seerviceman.

IN This particular section SSC aims to ask question related to current affairs and general awareness of environment
around him and its application to society.

There are chances that question will be asked from the observation part of general event and latest things happens
around us

there is more chances that question may be asked from the neighbouring country in terms of history , culture , geoography
, Economics condition , General pollicy and all about research

However questions of above section will be asked on the basic level and not from the advance knowledge point of view.

NOW COMES THE QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE

(C)
In this section students must have knowledge regarding appropriate sence of numbers and ssc mainlly test the number
sense test of the candidate.

( D ) ENGLISH COMPREHENSION

In this section candidate should care of little bit of english grammar and comprehension

candidate ability to understand or to write correct english grammatically will be checked.

apart from this students  writing ability to a certain approach will be checked.

The question in Parts A, B, D will be of little bit commensurate way and in section C , question of 10th or basic level will be asked by SSC-CGL.

 

SSC-CGL MAINS SYLLABUS FOR EXAMINATION

Above in the table  we can observe that there is new subject came which is  STATISTICS. It is the subject some particular students who has applied for JSO ( junior statistical officer) there will be separate paper for them

Apart from this those who have chosen accountancy there will be separate papers for them as well.

There is common paper in all the post that is :-

2 mathematics

SSC- MAINS EXAM SYLLABUS

THERE IS SIMILARITY BETWEEN MAINS EXAMINATION AND PRE EXAMINATION FOR THE BOTH TIER EXAMINATION 🙂

The only dfference is the whatever the topic will be in pre examination the advance version of which we can see in mains examination of ssc- cgl

so, be strong with that of the table and topic i have shown you above and prepare the advance version of the same.

NOW COMES THE NEGATIVE MARKING OF THIS EXAMINATION

  1. In Tier-1 there will be negative marking of  0.50 for each wrong answers given
  2. In Tier – 2 , there will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answers given in paper -2( english ) and 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in paper  1,3 and 4.
